The Kemp's ridley sea turtle is federally endangered,they are endangered because of direct harvest of eggs and nesting adults, climate change, and destruction of habitat. Scientists/biologists don't exactly know the lifespan of these turtles, all we know is that they reach maturity at 10-16 years old.
